Have been staying in this lovely place already twice in a single room and a triple room with the bathroom. I just love the location, you can get everywhere from San Samuele and walk all over Venice. Thanks to their Web site, the location was simple to find. Very important given the twists and turns Venice can force upon first-time visitors. We had a great experience at Algergo San Samuele. It's located a few steps from the vaporetto ride from the train station (a bit further if you are arriving late). It's less than 10 min walk from Piazza Di San Marco, where all the action is. Staff is really nice and friendly. I definetly recommend it!

Nice little hotel with easy access from the vaporetti stop at San Samuele. Close to several very good restaurants and bars. Room and bathroom was very small but clean. Included Wifi access. Owners were very nice. Only negative was mosquito invasion if we left windows open at night, but stuffy if we closed them...

We went on the 19th February this year for two nights. The lady that checked us in was lovely and gave us lots of advice about where to eat and where the expensive tourist traps were.
