This hotel has great convenience to the train station and a great place to start exploring Venice. The value was good, the staff was very pleasant, and the location was excellent. Just 100 yards from one of the main corridors of Venice, I would definitely stay there again. BUT, I will say, "Not in room #10 please." Room #10 is... More

This was a delightful economy hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. We checked out of our tour hotel at 11 a.m., but the Santa Lucia already had our room ready for us.They also let us leave our bags for several hours after check-out because we had an evening flight. We shared a bath but never saw anyone else use... More

Authentic as it was monastery first before it was a hotel. Next to the river with a ferry stop just five minute walk frm the hotel. The high point abt this hotel is.... you can take a bus directly from the airport to the interchange which is located just behind the hotel. No need to book water bus or the... More

This delightful little hotel is a real gem hidden away in Venice. The staff are the greatest asset. Nothing is a problem and they are always there ready to assist with any needs. Their friendly nature and helpful assistance really made our stay even better. The hotel is well located, right near the main train station but up a very... More

The location was great - it was a very short walk from the station (less than 5 mins) and easy to find. It was easy to explore the city from here. My room was simple with a shared bathroom, but it was a nice hotel, and I would stay again. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

I stayed in this Hotel in 2006 and found it wonderful and made friends with Gianni & Allesandra, the owners. I returned this year in September for another 6 nights. Nothing has changed in the 5 years. The Hotel is still as immaculate and spotlessley clean as it was in 2006. The only adverse comment is that the rooms are... More

thanks to others taking their time to review this hotel, made my choice to stay here easier!. This was an excellent choice, very easy to locate and an excellent location for arrivals/departures. We found the staff to be very friendly, even joking with us despite different languages. The room we chose had a private (ensuite bathroom), the room was small... More

Tall ceilings in room were nice, appreciated having a sink in our room that did not include a bathroom (our choice). Room was quite average in impersonal but clean. Did not appreciate the frosted windows - made the room feel as though there were no windows at all! Breakfast was nice (bread rolls, jam, Nutella, spreadable cheese, cold cereal, packaged... More

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and found it was an ideal base for exploring Venice. It's a 10 - 15 min walk from the bus terminal and within easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions if you're reasonably fit. St Marks is about a 40 minute walk. The rooms in the hotel are fairly small... More

We only used this hotel to stay for 1 night in Venice and use as a base. It was a fantastic recommendation by the Rick Steves book. Venice was the last part of our Italy trip and being close to the train station was worth it. There is a great cheap place to eat lunch, and there is a Fantastic... More
