We were passing through by car so this hotel worked out very well in that the parking was easy and free, yet the location was still close to town and the train station. The walk into town was about 15-20 minutes, or the hotel has bikes that you can use. The bikes were all checked out when we arrived so... More

Stay in fist weekend of October 2011. This Hotel is very convenient to move around Venice because the Waterbus stop is close by and train Station. Many shops and restaurants right outside the the alley ....... Good Location! It is a bit difficult to see right off the main (Lista di Spagna) street because the entrance is off an Alley... More

This was my second time in Venice and I learnt the hard way that it is a good idea to pick a hotel near to the train station if you have luggage! This hotel meets this requirement. The hotel is cheap for Venetian standards but the value for money is not so good compared to other cities. A full breakfast... More

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Rossi, Venice for 3 nights in September 2011. This was the worst hotel on our 2-week stay in Italy. The only thing we liked about the hotel was its location, just steps away from the Venice train station and the Grand Canal. Upon arrival, we immediately felt uneasy because of the hotel's appearance... More

I stayed there in a 'private residence' managed by the hotel, which was not in the hotel building, but 5 min away. I was asked to settle the payment for my stay on the second day. When I arrived in the morning I was told that the owner of the hotel told the receptionist that I was to pay in... More

i chose a double room with shared bathroom. mind you, if you are taking shared bathroom rooms, all are located on the 3rd floor. if you have many luggages, you might wanna think twice. but i didnt mind lugging so its okay. my room was very villa-ish. not very big, jus right for two persons. toilet is two rooms away,... My single room in this hotel was the smallest hotel room that I have ever seen. My room was very dusty and had obviously not been properly cleaned for a long time. The curtain was a piece of cloth pushed into the wall. I must say that the staff were very friendly but the breakfast was awful. Not recommended.

This was the second time that my husband and I stayed here, and we still found it to be a good value for a very expensive city. It's conveniently located near the train station, so you don't have to drag your bags all over the city and up and down stairs. Both times we stayed on the first floor. The... More

Qiuet location off busy thoroughfare near to Grand Canal. Very handy for bus & train stations but always has a surprisingly peaceful, tucked away feel - reached through a charming ancient archway. Room (we had 101) basic double with small en suite shower/sink/wc - very clean. Retro fit aircon and ceiling fan though we didn;t need them. Room made and... More

We stayed there once before and though this hotel is "no Frills" we were happy to return. This time our room was not as pleasant. The shower was almost on top of the toilet , made private by the use of a shower curtain. Not a satisfactory arrangenet as the floor and toilet were saturated each time you had a... More
