We stay here 3 nights for my birthday. The first night we were on the 3rd floor. The room was very small but nice and clean but we asked to be moved because there was no lift. Breakfast is an experience! It was basic but actually lovely. The fresh ham was stunning. The second night we were put on the... More

I stayed here from 10-14 April with my partner and 2 kids. Our room was small but they all are in Venice. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels left for us. The girl on the recception was polite and friendly. The breakfast was ok, I found something to eat, fruit, bread rolls, croissants etc. Would stay here... More

After stepping off the water "bus" at the docks at San Marco Square, we struggled to find our way to the Hotel. We thought we knew how to find it (we had a map) but were lost and wandering for almost an hour with heavy suitcases in stifling heat going up and down bridges and a maze of laneways. You... More

We booked a 4 night stay at San Moise but on arrival were taken to this hotel with no explanation. We were even told it was the same hotel! The first night was dreadful. The room was so small and the tiny window looked onto a wall. The bathroom was tiny and the shower didn't work. We asked to be... More

Venice is a labyrinth. A wrong turn will take you to a totally different side of town. Upon arriving to the dock, walk towards Piazza de San Marcos. Your feet are your transportation, everyone walks with their luggage unless you take a water taxi to the canals to get to your hote( can be expensive) At Piazza de San Marcos... More

I booked a triple room at Hotel San Moisè, where I had already stayed three times before. I knew that they can put in one of their "depandances", this had happened to me twice, but everything was good in Ca' Fortuny and in Ca' Alvise. This third time was AWFUL. We were three, they gave a single room with three... More

Very disappointed in the hotel over all. Very small rooms, even by european standards, no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor, which meant hauling our luggage up all those flights of stairs. Nice to have a breakfast included but it was very minimal. After checking out of the hotel I discovered that I probably had left something at... More

Ateneo at Venice is a olb style building, very confortable rooms (clean, large, nice athroom). My room was located inthe back of the building, with a canal view, where we could listen the fabulous singers and music players in the "gondolas". WOW! Breakfast included is "basic" and not good service. Very good reception. Big issue: how to find the hotel... More

Good location behind San Marco Square. Front desk polite and helpful. Triple room very tiny and had to ask for soap and tissues but did get them both. Breakfast could be better. Venice very crowded in summer. Still love this city!! Please don't visit Claudia's shop around the hotel area. She rudely told us to leave her shop as we... More

I stayed here with my mom and grandma in one of the family rooms. I have no idea where the professional pictures on their website were taken, but it could not have been here. The rooms are so so tiny, there's barely any room for your things. The staff isn't the most friendly. Even when you ask a simple question,... More
