We stayed at Dimora Marciana for 5 days before Christmas. The location is great, our room was clean and the breakfast was fine too. Manuel was friendly and helpful. We had a couple of nights when the heating didn't seem to work and the room was a bit cold, except for that we enjoyed our stay in DM.

The best thing about Dimoria Marciana is the location -- close to San Marco Square, shops and restaurants and not too far to tote your luggage from the vaporetto. The room we stayed in was fairly small but adequate. Close to everything we wanted to discover and more. Hard to find but I think worth it in the end. A bit over priced but it appears to be the norm for all hotels in the area. Reception desk was helpful but staff seemed a bit cold. Would stay again.

There is no doubt that this hotel is in a great location, so close to St Mark's Square. I guess the over-priced rooms and poor value for money is general for Venice. This is realy a great place to spend a romantic weekend, warm atmosphere and really close to San Marco square. People at the reception was very friendly and polite.
