Venice is a very expensive city, and it is extremely difficult to find a place to stay for couples. We were thinking about staying at Venice Mestre and taking the train every day, but we decided to pay 15 Euros more per person/per night and sleep in Venice Santa Lucia. It was our first time in Venice, but we didn't... More

Unlike other reviewers didn't find it at all difficult to find. The map was very clear and we found it first time but maybe this is because we've been to venice before so had some idea about the geography from the bus station. My main criticism was the service really. The man we saw when we paid was very friendly... More

We recently stayed at B&B Ca' Del Gallo for one night in October. Firstly, the place is extremely difficult to find and this was never mentioned. We spent close to an hour trying to find the place and even locals did not know where it was. This is probably because this place is not so much a bed and breakfast... More

Venice is very compact and totally different so it helps to find a place that is authentic and near everything. You do a lot of walking in this city – there are no cars or busses; the only transport is on the waterways so you need a place near the water place and that’s what Corte Vecchia is. You can... More

Excellent place. I don't know if this is really how Venetians live but it sure feels authentic. It's a converted house, shutters on windows, old style furniture. It feels more like staying with friends than a hotel. (Although, don't worry, they do have aircon, wifi, etc, as well.) The guy in charge is an artist of some kind. So the... More

Arriving in Venice is a shock: we've never seen a city so unique. It's totally a maze, but the B&B we've been staying is close to train station and bus terminal, easy to find thanksgiving to B&B staff providing us a clear map by e-mail right after booking the room. The place in itself is warm and confidential, and overall... More

I recently stayed at Ca del Gallo with another couple during the hype of summer, overall, I do not recommend Venice during the summer...too many people, which subtracts from enjoying this gorgeous city. However, this B&B was definitely a wonderful find. Reasonably priced, it was very clean and in a fantastic location. Close to Piazzale Roma and the train station,... More

Our experience at this bed an breakfast was okay, but we probably won't be going back. It is very small, with only 2 rooms. Fabrizio, the owner, is very helpful when you arrive. He gave us a lot of great tips and advice on where to go in Venice and we really appreciated that. The room we stayed in was... More

It's a B&B with only 2 rooms. We spend 1 night in a room for two. Nice place, clean, and with a good ubication (easy to get, but is not in the center). Your can leave the Venezia's experience! Federico gave us a warm wellcome, he also speaks great spanish. I recomend this place and we would come back.

Hi, here's Luca and Alessandra, italians. The B&B is close to the only access point of the city, so it's a relief not to carry all our luggages across a city in wich you can only walk! Than the accomodation is fine and modern, the mood in this place is very soft and relaxed. Thanksgiving to Federico, the manager of... More
