The hotel Donatello is in a very central location. The staff is friendly and the rooms are good. We asked for a room in the back to be away from the noisy square. Breakfast is ok. Quality to price ratio is good. However, this is not a 4 star hotel and the hotel would need some renovation.

Old fashioned, but pleasantly so. Very central location, everywhere seems to be in walking distance. Four star is pushing things a bit here however and breakfast is rather limited. Parking is a real plus and there is no charge - but this is not a modern garage and is best managed with a small Italian car.

Dantello do NOT match other 4 stars hotel at all. The rooms are very small as well the elevator, no enough towel , no room tea/coffee / ice machine. Old fashion. You cannot control temperature. However, it is clean , in the city center ,free internet and good intercontinental brake fast

Hotel was clean and comfortable. the staff was very helpful in arranging transportation and directions. When a Taxi was requested it appeared in two minutes at the latest. This is a solid, reliable, local institution with 1950's, black and white, photographic evidence to prove it, but it is neither drab nor seedy. This hotel is perfectly okay in many ways - clean and comfortable and in a good location, with a tram stop only a short walk away. Stayed here for 2 days and found it to be much better than expected especially after reading some of the dire reviews. Past experiences of Italian Hotels have shown me that the star rating dosen't mean very much. We've stayed in 2/3 star hotels that have been more like 4, and 4/5 star have have been drab and grimey pits.... More
