It just depends on what you're looking for! Do you want to ski Courmayeur? Go for the annex building right next to the funicular. Its cheaper if you prepay and charges an extra €10 / day for parking. Last refurbed in the 70s, overheated rooms are very basic and back onto a noisy road. So if you open the window to breathe, you get deafened. Avoid

If you don't expect 4 star quality then you'll be fine. We had a superior room which had a separate bedroom that gave some nice extra space with a view to the ski slopes.
