Hotel's location is great, just 2 minutes walk to Porta genova station, hotel is very cheap, breakfast was better than i expected but bathroom was a bit small, also the towels are not like towels we r used to.

The room was very basic, however comfortable. The sheets were changed daily as well as the towels. There was a funky odour coming from the bathroom, it could have done with a make over and a good clean. Lovely court yard view, but be prepaired for a 4am wake up as bin men came at this time on a Wednesday!...

Finally, a desk clerk ( day shift anyway ) at a Milan hotel who was helpful / friendly !! And very good English as well.
Compared to the Cristallo Hotel in Milan where the desk clerk just threw us a restaurant business card to a facility which was closed at time of visit, the Minerva was a delight.
