Hotel Rio has a great location near the duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuel, the breakfeast was okay, though the staff weren't very friendly! Agree that it is indeed very noisy at night, but can easily be blocked out by covering your head with a pillow! Also, the room was clean, but there was dust on the door handles.

The best thing about this hotel was the proximity to the center of Milan but with that comes lots of noise from the street. This was easily taken care of by closing windows and shutters and using the air conditioner. The location is perfect, very near Duomo. The hotel receptionist isn't so friendly. The hotel is old and smelly. The bed makes lots of noise. The breakfast is poor. I wouldn't come back to this hotel again. It's not worth the price.

Very good hotel, with nice and friendly staff. Fantastic location in the very heart of Milan, Duomo is across the square. Rooms are good size, bathroom is warm and huge, very nice and clean. Next time I am in Milan I will stay in this hotel! I recommend it to my friend and family.

The hotel room was of decent size and cleanliness, but the main draw was the fabulous location - just 1 block from the Duomo di Milano and a metro stop. I would stay here again without a second thought.
