I stayed for one night in this beautiful old monastery, which seems to be converted into a conference space, offices, a cafe, and a hotel with dated but functional rooms. Location is brilliant: walking distance from everywhere, also the train/metro. The inner courtyard is beautiful, and the top floor rooms have beautiful balconies. Breakfast is ok, and front desk staff...... More

what a disappointing place, a nice historic building (from the outside), unfortunately with 1970's internal re-fit, and furniture to match. At half the price it would be passable, but at the 85 euros I paid it wasn't. Bathroom is poor, bed are poor, decor is old and tired, and the service is indifferent. Free WiFi would have made me feel... More

If you are a North American looking for a Sheraton experience, this is not the hotel for you. This is a typical European business hotel with the absolute basics. I have no idea what people we complaining about the noise , I slept with my balcony door open all night facing the courtyard and was only woken in the am... More

The location is lovely and if you get a room with a view of Santa Maria delle Grazie, you might even overlook the inflated price for a nothing-above-average room. You're better off without purchasing the hotel wireless and instead buying a cheaper wifi option from Vodafone.

I guess it is ok if you count that you are in the heart of the city and the level is average. However I find it a rather cold place for many reasons. It seems to me the usual place that puts leverage on the fact that it is well located but that offers nothing but the minimum. The breakfast... More

First of all the staff (receptionists, waiters at breakfast) were not friendly and helpful at all. Beside the poor English knowledge, already at the check-in arriving to the reception I should have waited until the recepitonist had finished their conversation between each other. Furthermore they behaved as they would have maked me a favour with the check-in. Therei is no... More

Despite the beautiful historic building and a great location, I would never recommend this hotel. The staff seem like characters from a skit about a bad government office full of people-hating bureaucrats. The very expensive wireless service, which they tell you is available throughout the hotel, is actually only accessible on the ground floor. The furniture in my room was... More

The hotel has a good location (10 minutes to the Duomo), but is not worth the price. The rooms are almost not soundproof, I had to buy myself some ear plugs to be able to sleep the second night of our stay. The breakfast is really bad (no proper coffee, a shame for Italy!) and the whole building is permanently... More

It is easy to miss the hotel as it uses the same entrance as the gallery and there is only a discreet sign by the glass door. If you have passed the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church, you have gone to far, although if you can get tickets to see "The Last Supper" fresco in the church, it is well... More

My friend and I stayed here for four nights. We thought, hey, staying in a converted monastery would be cool. Unfortunately, it wasn't what we imagined. The rooms were plain, industrial, business style, obviously catering to business people. The men at the front desk were far from friendly (Paolo in particular--he deliberately didn't tell us our cab was there early,... More
