We were made to feel so welcome by Signora Bini and had the same car parking experience as LibandGuy! The room was fab and the main sitting areas absolutely beautiful. It is so lovely to stay in places where the historic fabric has been so respected and the owners are so totally charming.

My wife and I, plus another couple, long-time friends, spent 3 nights at Palazzo Arrivabene last October, and everything was wonderfully enjoyable. The Palazzo is the home of Signora Bini and her son Claudio, and you couldn't ask for better hosts. The Palazzo itself is beautiful. Our large rooms were very reasonably-priced, and we had the beautiful living and dining... More

We spent 2 nights in Mantova at this lovely B&B. We were greeted by Rene who walked back with my husband to the general parking lot where we had left our car, and then directed him on backing down the side street so that he could get into the courtyard parking area without driving under any surveillance cameras on the... We had a wonderful 3 night stay here in Mantova, and really appreciated the way we were made to feel so at home. Yes it is a palazzo but a lived-in one. When we had an early start one day for a trip to Parma for a ham/cheese tour our hosts prepared and set out our breakfast, even putting the... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Palazzo Arrivabene. What a beautiful place to stay - built in 1491 this was truely an amazing experience staying here. The hosts, Rene and her son Claudio are fanastic - warm and very friendly. Breakfast with Rene was a treat and a great start to the day. Her home made cooking is... More

My wife and I stayed at Palazzo Arrivabene last month and although we usually stay in 4 star hotels this place was beyond any of our expectations. We have visited plenty of palazzo's in Italy through the years but never thought we would stay in one !!!! The place is impeccable filled with antiques and art. As you enter the... More

My husband found this b&b on the internet and insisted on staying two nights, and what a find! This isn't just a beautiful building which has been turned into tourist accommodation, this is a home. Rene, a very elegant lady, and her son Claudio live here, their ancestral home. Like many Italian homes it is hidden behind a nondescript facade,... More

...a real palazzo with fantastic rooms and furnishing. We had a huge (the bed and the room) double bedded room and really enjoyed the hospitality of this lovely family.

I stayed at this B&B with a few friends over night and had a very good time. Signora Bini was very warm and welcoming and the breakfast spread was superb! It is very very conveniently located, 5 minutes to the center on foot. The place itself is amazing as it is an old palazzo that has been wonderfully maintained (a... More

Claudio and his mother Reni made us all feel most welcome on arrival after a very long trip from Australia. Suggestions on where to dine and what to see during our three day stay were spot on. Our privately guided tour of Palazzo Ducale arranged by Claudio was extremely interesting and very informative. His mothers explanation and information on the... More
