This hotel is very centrally located, about 3 minutes walk from the lake. Outside the hotel are numerous restaurants in the Piazza. The proprietor and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. All the rooms are smallish, but very functional and adequate. Breakfast is good by comparrison to other Italian hotels.

A small, friendly hotel in the centre of Como. Overlooking the piazza with 5 cafes just outside the entrance. Continental breakfast was incuded in the price. Surprisingly quiet given the location. Within walking distance of all tourist attractions, ferries and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms small but comfortable. Excellent value for money.
