We loved this small hotel, just out of Bellagio. Walk to the town, ferry taxi available for a trip across the lake. Great staff, friendly, nothing a problem. Excellent restaurant. Strongly recommend for a short or long stay.

The view from some of the rooms was amazing overlooking Lake Como. The staff working were very friendly and helpful. However one night when we had TV difficulty no one was working at the front desk? The rooms were rather large for Europe,comfortable, with large strong showers. The rating would have been higher if the glass door to our bathroom... More

Great atmosphere and service. Great location by Villa Melzi, 10 min walk to town and ferry. Rooms - and shower - small but clean. Very nice breakfast included. Monica at front desk very patient with our requests. Can't wait to go back...

The room was a good size with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. The breakfast was delicious and staff were fantastic. Very friendly and very helpful. It's not too long a walk to town but on road with drivers was abit scary but still ok. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Hotel Silvio gave us a lovely room, friendly service, a delicious and reasonably priced dinner (my boyfriend, who eats a lot of steak, said it was the best one he'd ever had), a generous breakfast and an 'on demand' shuttle into town. All with amazing views of Lake Como. What's not to like?!

Hotel is lovely and the views especially from the restaurant are simply stunning. Our room was nice and spacious although a little odd (there was a semi partition that split the room to allow for a single bed). We visited in the middle of May and the weather was awful (which was rare) but the hotel's heating wasn't switched on... More

Our guidebook recommended it... and it said that Bellagio was quiet and lovely in the spring... they were right!!!The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and you feel very welcome. We booked this hotel for one night as it had air conditioning. When we arrived our room was like an oven with no shutters or curtains. We could not get the AC to work so went to reception. I didn't dislike this place, but I expected a lot more from the other reviews. Firstly, on the positive side, the fresh orange juice at breakfast is a really nice touch and did much to increase the positive factor in this review.
