Casa Mario Lupo is a beautiful house set amid Bergamo's beautiful piazzas and buildings. Our room was spacious (a duplex!) with a large, renovated bathroom. The hot tub-like bathtub was a nice touch. A wonderful apartment in the heart of the old city less than two minutes walk from the main Piazza Vecchia. The proprietor, Gianmauro, was very welcoming and helpful. Even although we stayed for only one night arriving late and departing early this was a memorable stay for all the right reasons. Great location, extremely quiet (apart from the bells!) and a helpful genuine host. The accomodation is truly quirky.

Thanks again Gianmauro as the best host in Citta Alta. The apartment Venus and Saturn is ideal for friends trip to Bergamo. The atmosphere and location of the B&B is superb. Gianmauro introduced us to a very nice lady Rafaella who took us to Sirmione for a day trip. I'll be back and also my friends want to return.
