We recently stayed two nights at the Best Western Metropoli. The hotel is situated right in the middle in the historic area. Strade Nuove (Via Garibaldi), Palazzo Reale, Porto Antico, Christopher Columbus' house are all within just a few blocks of the hotel.

Good hotel in great location which is also his pad side a bit noise and the parking is horribly located and very expensive 20 euro for 1 day ( 4 per hour if less than 6h ) good breakfast and nice staff good advice about Ugo resturant nice over all the price was not cheap if you add the parking
We do know that parking in Genova is not easy nor cheap but once you park, the historic centre, the shopping area and the main monuments are there, a few steps away.

The hotel located in the center which makes it convenient for shops, taxis and public transportation. Room was clean and bathroom was very nicely done. Internet is free and so was breakfast. Great staff, helpful and pleasant. Recommend this hotel.
