Excellent location for visiting all areas of the city. The b&b has been renovated to a very high standard. The rooms are lovely, and clean and modern. The breakfasts as sumptuous and Emi who runs it is absolutely delightful. Not one for the unfit as it's up 4 flights of stairs, but it's a real hidden gem.

The rooms are on the top floor of a XVll century palace, in the heart of the old town. The beds are big, rooms are super comfortable and beautifully decorated, breakfeast is great...planned on staying only one night, but decided to stay for a second night, as it is absolutely worth it.

I was very impressed with the attention to detail in this place. Beautifully designed, clean and with everything you could possibly need. The hostess was extremely helpful too so do ask her to recommend places to eat and visit. Would love to go back there in summer and make full use of the rooftop terrace.

The B&B Quartopiano (which means 4th floor) is a gorgeous B&B in the middle of Genova's narrow streets.
