Great location, great service, clean room, friendly staff. This hotel has added four new rooms and we stayed on level 3 in one of the new rooms. We could not see the water but the balcony looked over the town. Very plesant view. The room had two doors to the balcony that were doble glazzed. The staff were very friendly... More

Our room was in the building beside the hotel lobby. It was on the first floor (second for us North Americans) with a small balcony overlooking the restaurant and the ocean. We loved to sit at the end of the day, enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. The room itself was not large but certainly adequate. The... More

ALL I CAN SAY IS YUCK YUCK YUCK. Turned down the sheets to see multiple blood stains. Room looked like a bad truckstop motelroom and beware: we had NO view of the water. They gave us a nominal discount for the blood and our room still ended up costing around $130 U.S. Worst hotel experience ever.

A 2 night stay in early September, we were initially surprised at how busy the town was and the fact that our room looked out on the main street was an initial worry, however the town quickly quietens down in the evening allowing you peace and quiet to enjoy the proximity to the sea and the well tended restaurant.he Room... We were walking in Cinque Terre at the end of this August. Marina Piccola, our base for three nights, was booked well in advance. Actually we had been recommended another hotel in Manarola but they could not accept payment by a credit card that's why we chose Marina Piccola. This was a mistake. It did look good on their website.... More

We made it a rule not to eat at any place more than nice while traveling in Europe, but we ate here two nights in a row. The pasta was soft and fresh, the seafood delicious and the waiter (Leonardo) was excellent. He helped us to choose some spectacular wines both nights, and was very welcoming and friendly. For this... More

Manarola is the place to stay if you want the Cinque Terre experience without feeling like you are in a tourist trap. It's small and quiet and, staying there, you feel like one of the residents. The hotel has a great location near the small harbor and the view from our room was extraordinary (top floor, #9). If you are... More

The service in this restaurant and the food is less than average. Proud and arrogant service personnel. I am disappointed. The only good thing is the view. Bottomline. Cinque Terre is simply not what it used to be. Italy is not! It's dirty and unfriendly and costs way too much.

Manarola is a bit "off the beaten path" and this little hotel was more of a place to stay than a beach resort. Which is exactly what we were looking for. Arriving is a bit of a chore as we had to lug our bags quite a way from the train station down the main street (pedestrian only) to the... More
