My husband, myself and 16 year old daughter had visited Cinque Terre before,; but this time my parents also travelled with us so we were looking for accommodation that was easily accessible. Camere Franco ended up being very convenient - right in front of you as you come out of the train tunnel with no hill to climb whatsoever -... More

We weren’t sure what made our stay at Camere Franco so relaxing & pleasant. Maybe it was because of the tasty home-made limoncello that Franco greeted us with. Or, perhaps it was because it’s in Manarola, which has a mysterious way of concealing its beauty (we’ve run into a few speedy tourists who took the train there, got confused, and... More

My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, well appointed, safe, with a nice bathroom, The location is perfect with no hill to climb like many inns in Manarola. The small balcony was nice in the evening. The restaurant down stairs had a good American style breakfast and coffee. We would stay again.

I found Camere Franco the perfect choice in Manarola. It is decently priced and Franco himself is a great character. We stayed seven nights in a nice room with a small fridge which is very handy since there is no breakfast service in the hotel. There is an ok cafe downstairs, but you'll get your breakfast cheaper if you buy... More

When you are traveling with 2 kids for almost 4 weeks, you needed all the help and convenience you could get. On our third week of journey, we found Camero Franco the ideal place to stay. Tired from long flight from Paris, Trentitalia train strike, luggage with tired kids, it was such a relief to arrive at his place. Not... More

I stayed one night in Manarola and love this beautiful town. Franco is hospitable but barely speaks English. The hotel is upstairs of a restaurant that serves good breakfast. It's right at the end of tunnel when you leave train station. Although you can hear sound of train or people talking in the room, I still enjoy this ambiance.

We went to Italy for a longer weekend and staid in Florence, Manarola and Milan. But for much more better Prices - with Breakfasts, minibars, TV, Internet etc... At Franco's you get a nice spacious 1 Bedroom apartment, separate living area and bathroom and one Kettle to make coffee and a fridge to store your food. However make sure you... More

The room was exactly as shown in the pictures, but the bathroom was even better. It is large compared to many European 3 star hotels, with brand new fixtures (including a bidet), and kept spotlessly clean. It also has a large window, opening onto the outdoor entrance stairs, with wooden slatted shutters for circulation without losing privacy. The beds and... More

Mostly I have found trip advisor to be really accurate with their recommendations however this was definitely an exception. Where do I start. Well firstly, there was a sign on the bathroom door which said when you want your towels changed just leave them on the floor and they will be collected. So, on the third day I did just... More

We loved our stay at the Camere Franco of Ca' de Capun. Franco was so nice and welcoming, he gave us some of his homemade Limoncello when we arrived and gave us helpful sightseeing and restaurant info for the Cinque Terre. We had a huge room with a balcony overlooking the tunnel of the train station and a private bathroom... More
