Clean and spacious room and bathroom, free wi-fi in room. Good mattress, although next to street no noise at all. Less enthusiastic about the shower curtain as not so hygienic. Reasonable frigobar prices. Breakfast was nice and fresh, friendly staff both at reception (personal approach and helpful) and breakfast (authentic smiles).

We enjoyed our stay at the Ambassador Palace. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms were large and modern. We arrived tired and cross because we had been lost for over an hour. The kind staff immediately offered us two free drinks which quickly restored our good humor. Breakfast was included and was generous.
The hotel is located between the train station and the center of town. You can walk from the train station if you do not have a lot of luggage. The hotel is located about 45 minutes from Trieste and 1 hour 30 minutes from Venice. Slovenia is about 1 hour and 45 minutes - a must go if your drive....

Always stay in October at this hotel because the trade show in Pordenone, Italy. Hotels in Pordenone alwyas are full and I found this "Tesoro" (Treassure) close o the train station because I have conmute between Pordenone and Udine for 4 days... the breakfast is simple but nice, the rooms are very clean and traditional decoration with a good size...
