Not only is this adage true of a house but of hotels and boarding houses too. Many of the hostelries in Trieste were full, too expensive or in the wrong location. We stayed at this hostel at the end of an interrailing trip mainly to get easy access to Trieste airport for our flight home. Hostel was fine and very good value. It is right on the seaside and is a beautiful location but not really any beach. Didn't have breakfast so couldn't comment on how good it is but it... More

This is what you would call travelling on a budget. The hotel is probably one of the cheapest lodging solutions in the western hemisphere. Although very cheap the hostel really enjoys a 5 stars locations : it is on the see shore, very close a few hundred meters away to the Miramare castle one of the jewel of the adriatic... More
