This hotel was favourably reviewed by many other people. Basically their opinion was confirmed during our stay. Rooms are fine, but on the website they advertise with all kind of design rooms but we ended up in a room that was OK but had nothing to do with design. However, we have resigned to the fact that allocation of hotel... More

Dear Guest, thank you so much for your review. I am glad you had a nice stay at the hotel. About the designer rooms, it is clearly stated on our websites and other booking sites that they need to be requested for upon reservation, and that is why you got a classic room. We are always working on our rooms,... More

The hotel is located 50 meters from the magnificent Piazza Maggiore, that is the heart of Bologna. So you have the perfect location for all the sights, the life in Bologna and all the restaurants and good food shops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small - but OK - good beds and pillows. A very good breakfast is... More

Dear Guest, thank you so much for your wonderful review. You have been so kind. I am glad you had a nice stay at the hotel and enjoyed our service. I am especially happy to read about the breakfast because there has just been a change in the management of the bar and so far it seems we have made... More

Stayed in March 2013 with my husband and baby (13 months). We were 'upgraded' to one of the theme rooms, which was a nice thought but the decor was a little bit 'in your face' and detracted from the room being relaxing in any way. Shower was only a hand held one over a oddly shaped spa bath and it... More

Dear Guest, thanks a lot for your review. All comments are very important to us. First of all I’d like to say we are sorry about the food poisoning, but this is the very first time it occurred and no other guest signalled any problem at the time, so could it have been something/somewhere else? You did not signal it... More

Just returned from Bologna and had to write a review about this fantastic little hotel. Nothing was too much bother, staff were helpful and very friendly. Our room was on the top floor, simple, comfortable, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the ringing of the church bells at 7 o'clock every morning! Breakfast was delicious and adequate, again staff friendly and... More

This hotel was very centrally located and we could walk all around Bologna using the hotel as a base. Staff was polite, breakfast was good. Wi-fi is a good connection and there is also a computer which could be used. Umbrellas were available if needed. A taxi from to airport cost €15 and to the train station €12. The only... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for a week on business. The staff helped with every small request we had, helping coordinate cars, dinners, and more. The rooms were simple but comfortable and the heated towel rack was a real treat! The breakfast each morning was fantastic. The whole grain croissants are not to be missed!

This hotel was very nicely located in the center of Bologna. The rooms were very quaint and the hotel was a small and boutique feel. The staff was extremely helpful when we arrived late and was always willing to help when needed. This is a hotel that I would recommend for the location, service and kindness of the staff.

Decent but not high class, comfortable and well situated but not at the level it is recommended on Internet sites... I had a upper class room reserved, non-smoking, including breakfast; my mistake, I arrived in the evening when the hotel was fully booked. It is quite clear that they rented everything and I get the last room, not the one... More

We paid for a junior suite. If this is a junior suite, I'd hate to see a mere room. It was, in a word, small. there was a single window to the side overlooking a dank and smelly courtyard, so the room felt dark all the time. The furniture was laminate and cheap. The breakfast of a morning was often... More
