I have stayed only one night in Hotel Roma e Pace in December. I arrived late night to Ancona, so didn't have energy and time to search more. This hotel was really centrally located, so I decided to stay. Hm... I was actually quite happy to stay only one night. Hotel is described as "grand" or "old fashioned" - I... More

After catching the ferry from Split, we needed somewhere to stay in Ancona before catching the train next morning. I was glad we chose Roma e Pace…it is about 500m from the ferry terminal…you could walk (but we caught a taxi). It is an old-style ‘grand’ hotel with comfortable rooms at the end of long corridors. Breakfast was ok but... More

Chose the hotel for its proximity to the ferry. Was very impressed with the olde worlde decor although the male on the desk was a bit brusque. The lift was very small but they tend to be small all over this part of the world. Dining room and bar was excellent and the surrounding streets made an evening stroll a... More

Despite its very pretendig name and "old fashion" nice entrance hall the hotel needs urgent renewal, it is extremely old, the bed was falling apart, the bathroom was smelling, the room wasn't very clean. booked two nights and stayed just one....and it was already too much

Perfect location and adequate for it's purpose. We were only in Ancona for a night so no problems. Room was quite small and very old fashioned. The bed, although very big, felt like it was ready to fall apart. Rooms feel like you're staying in someones house! Public areas were better condition. Bathroom had a sit shower in it....again very... More

The hotel felt a bit like a "Grand" hotel which is already past its best days. Still, I like my room. It was not exactly new, but tastefully decorated. That said, my colleague reported that he got a room on another floor that was significantly worse. The hotel is almost directly in the city center, but a little way from... More

If I had read the reviews before I booked this hotel, I would probably have stayed somewhere else. What a great surprise! This hotel is a little gem. The location could not be better! The hotel is full of olde worlde charm. The rooms look just like they do on the website, just look smaller! They are comfortable and very... More

We stayed one night in this hotel and quite frankly one night was enough. We arrived before noon and we were quite happy to leave our cases and check in later. However the guy at check in said there was a room ready if we wanted to leave our cases there. The room was at the back of the hotel... More

Quite a cheap hotel price wise but for a 3 stars you would expect much better. Rooms were very small..almost like staying in a boarding school cubicle. There was also a horrible smell in the bathroom, which i tried to counter by buying my own air freshner but it didnt really help...not good! Place was entered by cleaners each day... More
