Attempted to check in at 2pm. No one on reception had to ask staff from cafeteria who completed our booking for two nights. After visiting Villa Adriana we returned to our room to find t.v. and fridge not working, insufficient lighting and plugs coming off the wall. Still no one at reception. Went to sleep and about 4.30pm the waiter... More

I loved this place!! It looks and feels like the 1920's and I found that very charming. The staff was friendly and accomodating...even though I do not speak Italian..some how they understood me quite well. The food in the restaurant is fabulous. make reservations. some nights there was a concert outdoors.. a violin concerto that wafted through the hotel and... More

Made reservation in March 2009 for planned stay from October 5-8, 2009. Made deposit of 120 euros based on Gabriella Cinelli’s (Owner/Operator) written commitment that provided I advise her before September 29th, the deposit would be refunded in the event I needed to cancel. In early Fall of 2009 my sister-in-law was diagnosed with very aggressive terminal cancer. We had... More

This hotel is ideally positioned for seeing the gardens at Tivoli, but it is rather out of reach for much else. It hasn't been kept up to date, and now needs a good workover. Relaxing atmosphere and relaxed staff...

Location, next to Hadrian's villa, is the only reason to stay at this past its prime hotel. We had booked a junior suite only to discover that the two rooms were smothered in dark heavy brocaded fabric and carpeting, all of which had seen better days. There were unknown stains on the wall as well. We switched to a regular... More

We originally booked another hotel for our May 2008 visit but arrived to find it covered in mud from a recent flood, so we called Hotel Adriano out of our guide book. They had a room for an OK price (more than we wanted to pay but offset by the fact that they said it was easy to find and... More

I booked a room for May 2007, but am unable to make the trip because my travelling companion injured her foot. The reservation confirmation asks for a cancellation to be made 7 days prior to the day booked. I have been notifying the hotel for more than 2 weeks and have yet to receive acknowledgement or a refund. I have... More

Had some trouble finding the place because the street and directional signage was turned the wrong way at the intersection where you have to turn onto the road taking you to their location. We drove several miles past our turn before realizing we must've missed it. (Not the hotel's fault.) When we arrived early at 12:30 pm, our room was... More

We spent a lot of time trying to find the place! The website's directions could be more explicit as to WHICH motorway one should be leaving when following directions: **As soon as you leave the motorway turn right towards Tivoli, then go straight on for about Km 1.5 and take your first right (Via Rosolina)following directions to Villa Dell'Imperatore Adriano....
