The hotel is located on the third floor of a typical Italian building, with a doorway leading into a courtyard and winding staircase around a lift. The location is ideal, near to Nationale, which is one of the main shopping areas. There are many local, reasonable restaurants nearby. The hotel is located between the Colluseum and Trevi fountain, each of... More

Maximillian was our host and very helpful. Small room, small shower but a nice hotel right in the middle of it all. We walked to all the main sights except for a bus ride to Vatican City. Breakfast was basic but satisfying. No WiFi and we could only find one English tv channel. Very thin walls; bring your ear plugs.... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel for being a 2 star. It is DEFFFFFFF way better then a 2 star!! The old... More

Great place to stay in a central location. It is exactly how advertised but better. Great staff at the front desk. Julio, one of the staff, really gave us the VIP treatment. He helped us book our next hotels in Florence, recommended incredible local cuisine, and setup reservations for us at restaurants. The room was big and CLEAN. The bathrooms... More

I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Rome, Hotel Galatea is in a great location, is clean and comfortable as well all staff are friendly and helpful. From the hotel we could walk to all major locations in Rome, but if you don't want to walk there is a bus station and metro near by. The room was very modern... More

The hotel is located nearby a main route (Via Nazionale) that has bus access to most of the major attractions. It's next to a pizzeria, and not that difficult to find (based on the reviews here I anticipated the worst). Just print out a small map of the area and you'll find it in no time. The desk employees are... More

The room we were given was dark, gloomy and miserable. The paint was peeling of the walls and was exceptionally dirty. The bed was rock hard, though surprisingly... More
