Mauro the manager is an incredibly nice guy. He offered to pick us up from the airport at a novel fee compared to the cost of the train. He was full of tips and suggestions for the city and even made us reservations at a nearby restaurant which proved to be excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable with good... More

My boyfriend and I had some troubles with the car when arriving from Cinque Terre to Roma, but finally reached the city around 2 am. Mauro was still here, waiting for us ! he is incredibly nice, and took 20min to explain us everything to see and do in Rome in 2 days: places to eat, things to see and... More

This is not for you if you are looking for a classic 'hotel', but if you are happy with a clean, safe and very centrally located place to sleep, then this will be perfect. Mauro is very helpful (though you may want to ask him to slow down when he speeds through his map orientation! :-) and the only problems... More

We arrived 2 hours later than planned but Mauro was waiting with a smile. He was very helpful and spent a lot of time explaining everything to us and gave us information and a map of Rome. The location was great, 2 minutes walk from a metro and 15 minutes walk from Termini train station. The free breakfast at the... More

We stayed 5 nights in RomeBed in mid July 2011. RomeBed is essentially an apartment that has been converted into guestrooms. There are 3 rooms off the long corridor. The rooms share 1 large, bright and clean bathroom. The rooms have basic but ample furnishings with desk, cupboard and side tables. The owner, Mauro, was most helpful. We arrived at... More

Romebed has 3x double rooms along a corridor, that share 1x bathroom in a secure apartment building. We travelled with another couple, so for 1 of the nights it was just them and us which was great. All rooms individually locked. Good location, about a 15min to the colleseum and a short walk or ride on the metro to the... More

We stayed 5 nights at bedroom with shared bathroom there. Everything was cleaned everyday, the hostel keeper was helpful and nice. Accomodation is located in a convenient place (2 minutes walk to metro stop and main sights reachable by foot), in a beautiful old building. Definitely recommend going there.

Stayed in RomeBed in June 2009 for 3 days. Mauro was very helpful and friendly, and for the price, it was great. Don't expect luxury, but the location was ideal, the room was a decent size, and all in all, I'd recommend it. Tip: you may want to bring earplugs just in case the people in the room next door...
