Residence Mallia offers spacious apartments with an own kitchen, sleeping is comfortable and staff is helpful; however, it is quite far from the city centre and it takes a while for the train/metro to come especially in the evening hours.

Too far from the city, about 1,5 hours with train and then change to metro. Trains heavily delayed or cancelled every day. Taxi to central Rome costs about 25 euros. We spent three nights in this hotel. It's a bit far from the main sights in Rome - You need to use public transportation which is close to the hotel. Rooms are spacious, but need some renovation. Awesome, small family-runned pizzeria is couple of step behind the corner down the Carolis Steet.
