La Maison Royale was a fascinating experience. It is actually a private apartment housed in a building complete with an old-fashioned iron gate elevator, next to its 4-star sister the Atlante Hotel. Room was huge, beds comfy, but alas no Wi-Fi which you have to pay for. The saving grace is the buffet breakfast served at Atlante's rooftop garden cafe... More

It was an excellent stay at B&B Atlantic star: The rooms very clean, not noisy and the breakfast on the roof garden at Atlante was superbe! We will stay again (7 people) there in February next year !. Near to the vatican and the city (Piazza Navona, Pantheon etc.). Very friedly welcome at the hotel. We enjoyed it and look... More

Other than the location which is 5 min walk to the Basilica of St Peter , I will not endorse the place. The toilet wont flush , the personnel at the Atlante Star ( Alex ) when we were booking our transfer from Rome to FCO was charging my sister 60 euro while prior to that in the morning when... More

We had two rooms, one double and the other a large quadruple room, that had a common door. The service and the breakfast are at the hotel next door and are of wonderful value. The only trick is that you have to unlock 3 doors to get to your room, but the rest feels like 4* hotel. Our rooms were... More

We used the Orange Garden B&B which was well placed for sightseeing on foot. The rooms were clean and well furnished. We were pleased we could use the hotel next door for breakfast. The view of the Vatican was spectacular from the 6th floor reataurant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only critisism was that there was no tea... More

A clean, quiet room with all you need for a comfortable, economical stay in Rome. Best of all is the buffet breakfast that's included, and served in the adjacent Hotel Atlante's rooftop restaurant. Its offerings are varied and satisfying--great pastries, very good coffee, decent cheese, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, cold cereals--served in sumptuous surroundings with a view that... Actually driver brought us to the Atlante Hotel (instead of La Maison Royale) and we were surprised when receptionist (incredible guy from Moldova - Nikolay) told us that La Maison Royale is actually B&B from the Atlante Hotel. We got free upgrade and spent 4 wonderful nights in the hotel instead of B&B (thank you, Nikolay). Breakfasts were great with... More

This was the worst place to stay in Rome. Their website describes it as newly opened prestigious B&B ...rooms are furnished with style and elegance. Every detail has been carefully looked after. All rooms are equipped with private bath en suite with Jacuzzi, TV, A/C, mini bar, hair dry... Don't believe anything on the website. Well the moment we got... More

My husband & I stayed at the B&B and were very impresed with the size of the room, it was more like a little flat (appartment) of our own. The decoration was very charming as well as the building. The location could not be better...right there at the heart of the Vatican...gorgeous views from the hotel's restaurant!!!. There was a... More
