We booked the hotel because we wanted to stay in the area of Trastevere which we heard would be a real 'Roman experience'. Unfortunately the hotel was not actually in the centre of Trastevere and was infact over a 20 minute walk to get there. The area which the hotel was in wasn't particularly nice, the only good thing I... More

This place was recommended to us by an Italian friend. We booked a 'double economy' room and paid Eur 60 per night up-front. Our friend also booked the same room type but didn't pay up front. We were given the tiniest room you could imagine and he was given a room of normal size. I asked to upgrade and was... More

To begin, this is not a three star hotel. The hotel is located adjacent to a major road so you will hear ambulances and motorbikes and cars at all hours of the night. The rooms are dirty and the carpets in the halls are in serious need to replacing (dirt is ground in). The breakfast should be skipped. It is... More

This was our third visit to Rome and we decided to stay in a slightly more authentic part of Rome away from the centre of tourism, This Hotel was ideal, situated as it is very close to a tram station which took us the short distance to the centre of the city. The Hotel is clean and efficient... the reception/common... More

A nice little hotel in Trastevere area. Good cable car connections to the city centrum. Hotel rooms were nice and tidy, only that when you took a shower the entire bathroom was flooded. The room also lacked fridge. Alltogether it was a hotel worth staying. Nice staff and all. I recommend.

I booked this hotel through last minute.com and was expecting the hotel and it's rooms to be just as they were on their website. I opened the door to our quad room to find that the room was in fact NOTHING and i reall mean NOTHING like the ones i'd seen on the website, our room was covered in green... More

We recently stayed at this hotel while in Rome. We found the rooms to be inviting, clean, and comfortable. Good city location (although a bit traffic noise at night) ,and friendly service.

We stayed at the Villa Rosa Hotel Sept 08 and found it was excellent value for the price we paid. The room was a good size, nice bathroom. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Excellent location to get into the centre of Rome. Regular bus/train routes opposite the hotel. Try to book a room at... More

I stayed at the Villa Rosa Hotel, Rome, recently during a school trip. On a school trip one does not expect to stay in a 5* hotel but I did hope that this hotel would be better considering it has earned its 3*s (somehow)! The rooms we stayed in cost €100 per night which could just about accomodate 2 or... More
