My new husband and I stayed at Country Rome on our 9th, and last, day in Italy. The other two places we had stayed at in Rome and Florence were OK, but nothing like this! This place is gorgeous, clean, warm and welcoming, and Ylenia goes above-and-beyond to make her guests as comfortable as possible. She sent a driver to... More

I am still here at the bed and breakfast but couldn't wait until my checkout to write a review. Before I even arrived, Ylenia was in constant contact with me to provide directions and even offered pick up from the train station (I was arriving from the port of Civitavecchia). She has given me advice on what to do and... More

Knowing we had a very long journey to Rome from Australia ahead of us, we were in search of a quiet, comfortable and also affordable place in which to recharge our batteries, before embarking on our tour through Italy. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ylenia and after a brief orientation of the house, shown to our room. Noticing... More

Upscale Bed & Breakfast in well kept lush gardens - next to Tennis Club & Restaurant - outskirts of Rome -close enough to drive into the city or take public transport. CAN BE TOUGH TO FIND.

We spent 2 nights here and were actually thankful to be away from the frenzy and heat of Rome. The neighborhood is quiet and rooms were clean with good air conditioning. It's a little bit of a walk to the bus or tram stop, but the ride into city center isn't that bad. They sell tickets for the bus right... More

The bus ride into Rome takes a while each morning but it is worth it as the standard of the accomodation that you get here would be out of reach of the average pocket in the centre of Rome. The surroundings are also very quiet and after a manic day in Rome that is also very nice. If you walk... More

Country Rome B&B is an absolute gem! Our stay was superb thanks to our super hostess Ylenia, a caring person with fabulous energy. We received a warm greeting from Ylenia via email confirming arrival and transportation pick-up. She is very responsive when corresponding and even confirmed details in the evening. She ensured we had transportation upon arrival and our driver... More

The bed & breakfast is lovely, it feels just like you're staying in your aunt's recently remodeled, comfortable home and at 80EUR a night, it seemed to be a steal. Then we found out why. It's about an hour bus ride outside the center of Rome. I'd only recommend staying here if you plan to take a car.
