There's no denying that this hotel is in a really good location - only a couple of minutes walk from the train station, and many of the city's attractions and historic sites are also well within walking distance. There was also always a member of staff at reception to offer directions or advice when needed. The downside was the slightly... More

I was so worried about staying in this hotel after reading the reviews, but it is really not that bad. At the end of the day you have to remember that it is only 2* and you get what you pay for. I was plesantly suprised! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, the... More

After having been ripped off by a Roman taxi driver, we got to the hotel. The guy who checked us in was friendly enough, although his tone revealed that a trove of disaster was waiting to be found. After checking in we were told that the lift was 'on strike' and that we had to take the service lift, which... More

Firstly the hotel is in a good location 5 mins walk from Termini station, walking distance to main attractions such as Piazza Venezia and Trevi fountain took us about 25 mins to there. This hotel is really really old and needs ALOT of work done to it, our room was tiny and really dark and our view was of a really... More

Booked in as close to station and sites. Cost only £30 per night and for that price had no problem. Room was bit dusty and needed cosmetic repairs but felt safe and had no problems. Walking distance to central rail and convienient for sightseeing. think this was one of the hotels that charged extra to turn on aircon lol

Budget travel was the essence of this extended summer trip, and Rome did come as a welcome change in that the size of the room was larger than what we expected to be the norm in large European touristic cities. That said, there was nothing else worth mentioning other than the fact that the hotel was very close to Termini... More

Just the day before we went to Rome I checked some of the reviews on Tripadvisor and I was quite worried. But it turned out, the hotel is not as bad as I thought. The room and the bathroom were okayish, bit dusty and we had to clean the wooden surfaces on the bedside tables. The business tactic of this... More

I read the other reviews on this site just after getting back from the travel agent having booked a twin room in this hotel. I was horrified but was unable to change my very short notice booking without incurring major charges. When we arrived at the hotel, the gentleman on reception was very welcoming and polite (as were all the... More

Just after paying, we found that our room was not acceptable. The main concerns that we had were: the shower had an abundance of black mold, and the shower door was not even attached, but completely broken, and we deemed it unuseable. There was no safe and there was dust that set off allergies straightaway. We brought this to the... More
