OK, be very careful before booking this hotel. Our first experience of Radisson, and a mistake we won't be making again. We feel conned that we booked this via lastminute.com as a 'top mystery hotel'. 5 star? No, that's a joke. The Premier Inn at Manchester airport was ten times as good. Our room was tatty, the shower was AWFUL.... More

This hotel is described as 5 star. Don't be taken in by this. I have stayed in 3 star hotels which offered far more. The rooms are a great example of design taking precedence over functionality. On opening our room door, we were greeted by the sight of a sports holdall suspended from the ceiling behind the head of our... More

I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights and it was a big mistake. I had pre paid for this room so didn't have much choice but to stay here. The receptionist was very rude (the blonde receptionist). The rooms were not cleaned everyday but a note was left saying we had the do not disturb sign on door which... More

My husband and I spent a night in The Radisson Blu while on honeymoon in Rome. We were welcomed at reception by Ellen who was very friendly and gave us lots of information on places to visit, eat and drink etc. Our room was fantastic, on the 6th floor with a large balcony. The views weren't spectacular and looked out... More

I stayed here five years ago and was very pleased. Oh dear, what has happened in five years-basically a lack of maintenance. The room was very tired, shower not working properly, broken light controls, badly patched window blind. I asked to move rooms but the second was no better. The view from the restaurant is magnificent, but not matched by... More

The good: reception area big and airy, bed very comfortable, fast free wifi. The not so good: style and design (actually very weird design ideas) on a budget means that it looks good on the surface but scratch away a bit and it's tired and in some places a bit grubby. For example, the shower head does not have self... More

- The hotel was close to train station, so easy to get somewhere using public transports or reach the airport. - The hotel seems to be a design high standard in the past, but it looks that it has not been maintained. Bathroom tubes are damages, some lamps does not work, wall paints are getting too old. This hotel should... More

This hotel is in a perfect location for the train station so from the plane to the train and to the hotel was only just over an hour, so it is perfect for this. The hotel is exceptionally clean and although I went in March the outdoor pool was not in use it looked very appealing for a hot summers... More

We risked the hotel despite adverse reviews because it was offered at a very cheap price for the week before Easter. We found it reasonable with comfortable beds. The advantage of the train station location is that the local restaurants (at the end of the road) are real local restaurants offering excellent food, often home made, used by locals at... More

i stayed in this hotel for 2 nights the hotel is very modern and clean , the bed was very comfortable ,but it takes a while to figure out how to turn on the lights in the room ,everything is centralized and the water taps in the shower were somewhat confusing., a bit too high-tec for my liking. the breakfast...
