Just few steps from entrance to vatican museums. Great restaurants all around. 3 quite big rooms, each with bathroom. Common kitchen coffe, tea, basic breakfast. Nice terrace to eat your breakfast. Everything clean. Very friendly owners. Will give you tips what to see and how to get everywhere. Been there twice (one with friends and one with family)- always great... More

We stayed at AGV 2001 only 3 days in the end of April 2013 and we would definitely come back, and back to AGV 2001! We got a spacious and clean room. Well-functioning toilet and shower cabin. We were very glad for the terrace with a shelter, especially in hot and sunny days. We had our breakfast on the terrace... More

In September 2012 I was travelling through Italy and a friend recommended AGV 2001 B&B. It was one of the best decisions I made during my trip. The location was amazing but what was even more impressive was Ruggero. His B&B was clean, secure and friendly. His advice, ranging from day trips to local restaurants, made the stay even more... We've just spent a few nights at Ruggero's, We had already stayed at his place and when we decided to come back to Rome there was no hesitation about where to stay. The place which was very nice has been refurbished and everything is perfect. But the most interesting feature of the B&B is the host Ruggero who will do... More

I can't rave about this place enough. It's cosy, quiet (but in the middle of it all) comfy bed with wonderful hospitality from Ruggero and his wife Barbara. Ruggero gave us fantastic advice and helped us plan out our entire stay in Rome - which was SO good as we managed to see all the best bits of Rome plus... More

We stayed at AGV in late October 2012. The place was very comfortable, nice and clean. Mr Ruggero was a wonderful host. He provided valuable tips on how to make the most out of Rome, and to get the real taste of Italian ice creams and food :-) The BB is very conveniently located, and has very good restaurants nearby... We had a nice, clean room nearby the Vatican. Although it was easy to walk to the center of the city, the metrostation was only a few blocks away. Our host did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. He provided us with maps en told us about places worth seeing, restaurants where we could eat and places... More

Ruggero operates his B&B a stones throw fromthe Vatican City walls. Three rooms. Easy location. Rooms vary in size, but its really about location and service. This offfers so much more than a hotel - maybe not the same sterility. Ruggero was our host, and he could not do enough to help. Advising what to see, where to eat, how... More

I first visited this B&B back in 2010 with my sister. This time (Sept 2012) we decided to bring our parents to Rome to celebrate their wedding anniversary. I am always wary about going back to a property where i've stayed before as sometimes the standards may have dropped. Well, not here....AVG 2001 has gone through some refurbishment and our... More
