I've travelled alot in my life and Been and seen awful hotels. This one is one of them. The staff is absolutely redicilous, from the reception guy that looks and acts in a creepy way, to the breakfast room girl, that never smiled in her life. It looks like you get into one of those horror movies with a haunted... More

Very convenient location - close to the main attractions in Rome. At the same time - not far from the train station Termini but not too close. Clean and comfortable rooms. Located in a residential home. Rather B&B but not a full hotel. Not bad for the price-to-quality (110 euros per day). The minuses - old small TVs in the... More

This hotel was a little hard to find, hidden away on a strret in Rome and getting to the hotel was a bit of a task due to a not so safe looking lift or about 5 flights of stairs as the option to reaching it. However, once in the hotel the service was very friendly and helpful, the staff... More

We booked the Lilium with no references from others. We were so very impressed with all aspects of this intimate, small hotel. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and well-appointed. I loved the flooring in the hallway - may sound odd, but it was stunning - wide, wood panels in a deep purple/aubergine, finished with a high gloss (this does... More

Ssshhh... stop writing raving reviews about this hotel... I have to stay in Rome regularly for meetings and I want to make sure there is always a room available to me at the Lilium hotel... Let's keep it a perfect little secret...

A unique hotel offering a personal service in what is a very large and hectic city. From the moment you enter this immaculate hotel you instantly feel safe and relaxed. We cannot fault anything from the rooms to the beautifully intimate breakfast room.We found the location ideal.Would advise the mini bus shuttle from the airport which drops you off right outside the... We spent 2 nights in this very nice small hotel. Very clean and a lovely staff. We had only a little trouble finding the place. Near Termini station, metro and busses, so a great place to stay when exploring Rome.

The only reason I am not giving this hotel a 4 is due to the bland location. The hotel is charming and clean, but the location was a negative for us as it didn't really offer anything interesting close by. Although, it is close to Termini, so if that is important to you, than, yes - this is a great... More

We recently spent 5 nights at this delightful small hotel. Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and the room was perfectly adequate. The location is great with loads of buses on the door step to take you anywhere in Rome. It was a little noisy at night but that's unavoidable given the hotel's location. Having air con and ceiling fan was... More

The hotel is not near the main tourist sites, but it is close enough to walk to Termini train station without being too close. Buses and Metro are nearby and make it easy to access other parts of the city. We like to walk around a city whenever possible and we were able to walk to many of the sites... More
