47 Hotel was close by the various bus stops and with in walking distance to some of the great attractions. The room was very clean and there was free wifi in the rooms. They have a great included breakfast that we ate every morning. They do have a rooftop restaurant but its very expensive. I am sure the food is... More

We had a great time at the 47. Room was really big and spacious with high ceilings - very light and airy. Decent breakfast - buffet style with fruit, cereal, pastries and some hot options like scrambled eggs and bacon. Location is great, colosseum round the corner, 10 min walk to sights like the trevi and pantheon. Staff were really... More

First time in Rome (Americans living in London) and we had a great experience with Hotel 47. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was much bigger than we expected (especially compared to Paris hotels) and was always clean by 12pm. The rooftop bar/restaurant was nice - the food wasn't our favorite meal of the trip, but was... More

I stayed here last year for my birthday and loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was big and super clean. They even had a cake waiting for me with a birthday card - such a nice touch. We stayed there for 3 nights and it was a good location. You will need to book a... More

My first time in Rome and this hotel was perfect. Excellent location ( walked everywhere), lovely room, good food - but best of all , GREAT service. Claudia at front desk was such a star....went way beyond the call of duty - and took all the stress out of my trip, and navigating through the Italian train system! In short... More

We stayed at Fortyseven Hotel for 4 nights. The location is very good, with most everything we wanted to see in Rome within walking distance (not short walks, but safe and manageable). The rooms were clean and spacious, and we were able to get a guarantee on interconnecting rooms a week before we arrived. (They didn't connect in the usual... More

Rome was our final stop in a week long tour of Italy. The hotel, while small, is centrally located to the major sites of the Palantine, Roman Forum, and the Colesseum. The breakfast buffet was a great start to every day. Claudia greeted us and made the difference between a great stay and an excellent one. She highlighted major walks... More

My family of 4 (2 teenagers) just spent 3 nights at the 47. I cannot imagine a better location in the city to stay, as it seemed that nearly everything was within about a 20 minute walk in any direction. The hotel is very modern, (even a newer fitness room), the food and service was outstanding. The rooftop restaurant/bar had... More

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. Its location is fabulous, close to most of the sites we wanted to see, we did them all on foot. The only exception was the Vatican, but there is a direct city bus that goes there and which stops right outside the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly, they even had bus... More
