The hotel is located in a walking distance from the central termini metro station which is very convenient. The staff are nice. The breakfast is decent and the coffee is fantastic. There is restaurant close by called Pastaroma where we had the pasta there. The couple bed was made up from two single beds placed side by side and it... More

This is cheap, clean and location is ok (not really as rough as other reviews suggest). But breakfast was poor, it was noisy, lift was tempermental and the room was very basic (with dodgy tv) - all of which is forgivable for a hostel but not a 3star hotel. To be fair, EUR100/night for a double room in Rome is... More

My husband and I stayed here last August during our first visit to Rome. Staff was accomidating, but certainly not overly friendly. Did speak very good English, so we had no problem there. Was very conveniently located, close to train station and close to some decent shops and restaurants. There was no air conditioning, but with the open window and... More

Here is a breakdown of my ratings: Service: The staff was very nice and helpful whenever we had questions. The elevator was broken the day we arrived and they offered to carry our bags to the 5th floor (though we didn't accept the offer... but we should have:)). Value: No add'l comments. Sleep Quality & Rooms: I would have given... More

We stayed at this hotel for four nights at the beginning of September. It is only a few minutes walk from the main train station in the city which also holds the biggest metro station inside of it. This metro station will take you to just about anywhere you want to go in the city including the Vatican City, Trevi... More

It was great to be near the Termini for our daily expeditions around Rome and beyond. The desk staff were accomodating. There were several issues, however. Breakfast did not begin unitl 0730. The room was not air conditioned, which is a definite issue in August. It fronted on a very loud street - at 0100 and 0600. The shower was small... More

We stayed at this hotel beginning of August 2011 for three nights. We walked from the train station to the hotel....not even 10 minutes. The first impression was not a good one, the entrance was dirty, no elevator to the reception on second floor but we were happy to find a very clean room. They monitor entrance to rooms with... More

I could not believe that you have to pay extra for a/c in July. If the hotel has an a/c then it should be included in the price. What's next, charging for towels, soap, shampoo??? I have never been to a hotel who has an additional charge for a/c in the heat of the summer!! Do they have an additional... More

This was the worst hotel of our entire trip in Europe. The receptionist was rude and abrupt on our arrival, and neither of us felt comfortable asking for help or advice about local sights during our stay. Air conditioning was an additional charge, and finding out the lift didn't go to our floor (we had to get out at the... More
