We have just arrived home (uk) after a visit to Rome. New Morpheus Rooms is a superb place to stay if you want a room close to ancient Rome. It's very 'Italian' which we loved. You go to the 5th floor, steps or lift ( the lift is very old and in keeping with the building). Use the lift, it's... More

We recommend the New Morpheus Rooms to anyone who wants to see Rome on a low budget, and that does not expect to get a room at Hilton for this price. You get a nice room, cleaned every day, an excellent bathroom, homemade breakfast, and a very friendly and helpful staff. Though white carpets is not recommended in a hotelroom,... More

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the New Morpheus. The room was clean and the bathroom was large and modern. The breakfast was typical for an Italian B&B, but very good. The front desk staff was very helpful and someone was there 24 hrs a day. They gave us very good advice on seeing the sites. The elevator was very... More

Great location, you can see by foot all important places from Rome- even shopping streets :) The room is very nice and cosy, the bed very confortable! The room was cleaned and the towels changed every day! They make the perfect cappuccino for breakfast ( plus fruits, croissants, yougurt, cereales, toast, jam, butter..) Very friendly and helpful stuff with good... More

Building has plenty of "character" and obviously is not brand new. The room was clean and the bathroom had been recently renovated. As an English speaker in Italy the staff were able to help with all our needs comfortably. The service and hygiene quality was equivalent to (if not better than) most large successful hotel chains with the added value... More

Perfect small friendly place for Rome. We stayed for 5 nights from 9 - 14 december and found the rooms very clean with comfortable beds and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All the major sites were within 10 to 15 mins walk. And for continental Europe the breakfast was of a high standard. Basically for the level of... More
