We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during New Years Eve. The hotel overall was so and so... Nothing special to write about. However, the location is terrible. The bus stop that takes you to "Roma Termini" (The main train station in Rome) is about a 10 minute walk and arrives every 30 minutes. The bus ride alone is... More

I really cannot understand the bad reviews for this hotel. I had read them before I visited and stayed at the Ars Hotel and so I was a little worried and concerned. I needn't have been. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us. They were also extremely helpful when we were asking advice on... More

We visited Rome for a 3 day break and this hotel was advertised as being fairly cheap and within easy reach of the city centre. You need to get a bus which takes about 30 minutes which was OK, but in hindsight it would be have been better to stay closer. The most notable part of our stay was our... More

Arrived at the hotel and checked in in a room we liked. Later we discovered that the staff moved our thing to a much worse room without a desk. After complaining the staff sent us wandering around in search of a room with a desk. It seems they did not know which room has what. Finally found one. The next... More

We haven't checked out and I am writing this before we leave. While the facility is reasonable the customer service is atrocious. Internet in the room didn't work since the day we checked in. "Wireless" internet was allegedly available but never worked and we were told "it's those American computers." Not once was an offer made to find a solution... More

Pretty far away from city center. Bus connection is good, but will take you at least half an hour to get there (plus some waiting time), and buses are often very crowded, so pretty uncomfortable if you are with luggage. Room had a very inefficient design, no desk, a water kettle that could only be plugged into the same power... More

I stayed last week and I had a good impression of the hotel. Very well located and peaceful, well connected with the center of Rome, very clean environment with a particular design and comfortable rooms, . But I had only a problem in the night with the night concierge. He was very unhelpful as he didn't speak English other staff... More

I will keep it brief as i could rant for ever. A mixture of inept staff, insubordinate staff and one nice female member. No management in evidence or contactable. Small rooms. 5 star is a joke. On top of that its 30 min bus ride to centre. Hated it. Dirty blinds, broken plastic cups for coffee in room. Only water... More

We stay in Ars hotel last week for 5 nights and were fairly satisfied. The staff was very friendly and helpful (only breakfast lady can be quite moody but still helpful), breakfast acceptable but repetitive (continental breakfast with scrambled egg and bacon, fresh pastry and rolls, sliced meat and cheese, cereals, cakes and fruit) and hotel over all very clean...
