A few steps from the Pantheon this hotel is within 500 metres from most places worth sightseeing... We had a room (though ours was the cheapest available in the hotel) with a splendid view on the roofs of the city, the sun poured into the room in the morning. The bathroom was tiny, one people at a time. Breakfast was... More

The worst 5-star experience in Europe. The worst caprese from room service in my life (btw costs Euro 30). No charm, just old, tired and dirty.

Dear Guest , thus your review can not be considered welcome, we always consider feedback from our guest a precious source of knowledge. We prepare the caprese with the best buffalo mozzarella available on the market, which has a stronger taste than the regular cow milk made mozzarellas. If one is not aware of it, it is possible that the... More

We´ve just returned from a weekend away in Rome. Being our wedding anniversary, we decided to splash out and book a superior room at this hotel because the website looked amazing and the rooms looked modern and well appointed. At just under €400 per night (inc. breakfast), it was not cheap. I arrived in Rome on Friday afternoon. My husband... More

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review, sharing with us your experience and opinions. We are sorry if you felt misled by the photos on the site, on our opinion they are a good example of which accommodations we offer. For obvious reasons, we can not publish photos of all of our rooms, quite all of them are... More

I stayed here with a large group of friends for a girls weekend in Rome. A central hotel, situated right by the Pantheon (which was a stunning building to visit). This hotel is not cheap but offers great quality if you are looking for some luxury. We had a couple of minor glitches with items in our room but these... More

Dear Guest, We are very pleased by your feedback, thank you very much! We can provide roll-away beds, sofa beds or armchair-beds but no proper three-bedded rooms. Glad to know that you that your friend slept well, we have spent a lot of time searching for the best possible choice in term of extra-beddings. Thank you again and see you... More

The hotel is in the perfect location for walking to all the wonderful sites of Rome. The cobbled streets fit in well with the general ambience but do make walking a little more difficult and tiring. It is therefore important that you rest well, and you can at the Minerve. The beds are so comfortable with good quality linen. We... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we always pleased to know about a satisfied guest. The Minerva Roof Garden is heated in winter, to always provide a relaxing atmosphere in any season, but we do agree that the Roman sunset is best enjoyable in spring/summer/early autumn. Welcome back, Warm regards More

Although I have been to Italy before I have never been to Rome so I was at a loss of where to book. I went to a web site I have used in the past called luxurygroup.com. The hotel was listed on their site so I booked it. The hotel is in the heart of Rome, the hotel is sophisticated,... More

We stayed for just 1 night here, at the recommendation of friends who have stayed many times before - and would have graded it 3.5 (good) rather than average had there been an option to do so Best features are the location (although the taxi driver had diffculty finding it - so better to have precise directions) and the roof... Rome is a city to walk. If your hotel is in a good location you can go everywhere by foot. This hotel has a perfect location, just behind the pantheon (about 100 meters away), about 5 min walk to trevi, 5 min. walk to navona 10-12 min. walk to the tiber etc. We got a very nice room, big, roomy,... My wife and I have never stayed at the Grande Hotel de la Minerve. Too expensive for our travel budget, though our friends have stayed there and they recommend it highly. We have, however, enjoyed the rooftop bar when we are in Rome. In my opinion, this is one of the best rooftop bars in Europe. Catch the sunset over... More

I stayed at the hotel from 12/28/2011 to 1/07/2012 it is a very nice hotel but expensive, the best part is the location very close to the Pantheon, but our rooms were 340.00 euros/night and they were small rooms. Any drink or food at the hotel was too expensive so we did not try any. Service was excellent and friendly.
