The location is excellent, and its general state, lobby, etc are up to to the mark for a luxury city center hotel. But room prices are very high and extras expensive. A (small and basic) "Classic Room" (>€400/night, no breakfast) reserved online was confirmed as including "One large double bed" and "High speed internet connection" while optionals were listed as... When I read the reviews for this hotel before booking, I was very encouraged. We travel a lot and are willing to pay for a great hotel experience. You will NOT get it at this location. There are many, many other hotels in Rome for the same or less that will give you a much better vacation. Much better. It... More

When we first checked into this hotel, I was impressed by the lobby and the small parlor-like rooms off to the side, which were nicely decorated. The staff was efficient but friendly at check-in. Once we got to our room, I was pleased to see how large the room was, as well as the generous closet space. We had dinner... More

We spent four nights here in view of the Pantheon. The hotel was formerly a palace. The room was oversized, very clean, comfy bed, wireless access, AC, rooftop bar with excellent city views. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this location. It is also a convenient walking distance to many sights in old Rome.

The hotel is in a very central, covenient location - close to the sights, shopping etc. Our room, larger by choice, had great ambience and provided a romantic setting. However the standout feature was the staff - all of them were so friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we were very appreciative of that.... More

This was a homecoming for us -- 8 years earlier we were here for our honeymoon and returned with 2 kids. Our deluxe junior suite was really like a suite (with doors separating the bedroom from the living room) and for 500 Euro a night you couldn't beat it. The location is very good (especially once you realize you are... More

We arrived at the hotel to find there had been a problem with our booking. While they investigated what had occurred the delightful Naomi on reception took us up to the roof terrace for a complimentory drink. They were unable to ascertain what had happened with the booking and the hotel was full. At this point Tomas the reception manager,... More

Chose this hotel for its location. Hardly beaten by anything if you are a tourist. Phanteon is next door. The problem is value for money as this is an expensive hotel, posting 5 stars. Our Superior room is just ok, nothing more, nothing less and could do with a brush up. Rooms are also noisy, you hear everyone moving in... More

beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, old world charm, excellent location right next to the Pantheon and beautiful church, and close to many other attractions and shopping galore! Room service is very expensive, room and bathroom were so tiny I was a little claustrophobic, so luckily we only stayed two nights and spent our days touring or shopping..bed was quite firm so... Amazingly central location, Pantheon just a two minute walk, Trevi fountain,Spanish steps, Colloseum and the Vatican all within an easy twenty minute walk. The hotel itself is very classy with a beautifull Art Deco atrium roof in the lobby. On the actual hotel roof is a terrace restaurant and bar with the most spectacular views over Rome. The staff that we encountered... More
