I spent a year of planning so that I could take my family (10 people) on a dream vacation to Venice and Rome and our first night in Rome was ruined by the staff at this hotel. We flew to Rome after spending 3 beautiful days in Venice. I booked and prepaid for 4 rooms at the Fiume Hotel. When... More

We stayed for 2 nights prior to catching a cruise ship and overall were pleased with the hotel. It is not the most convenient hotel for the top sites in Rome but it is very near the Termini train/bus station and within a short walking distance to local bus stops and metro. Very close to the hotel are several good... More

My wife and I stayed at the Fiume Hotel in late April, 2012, and were very impressed. We were expecting a typically small room and bath, but, to our surprise, the room was large and the bathroom was really large. An extra bonus was that the hotel has been recently remodeled, so all of the fixtures, furniture, etc. are new.... More

A very good hotel. Room good, clean and staff provided a very supportive service. Super breakfast choice. A good range of restaurants nearby. Only a 20 minute walk to the City centre and also close to very good bus routes - one takes you through the City centre and on to the Vatican, another an express to the Colosseum. I... More

My wife and I (Seniors) spent 3 nights in Rome, early March'12, and stayed at Hotel Fiume, Via Brescia. Very strategic location for buses and walking to main thoroughfares and places to visit. Hotel meets its star rating: excellent reception, good bedrooms and ample self-service breakfast room and food range. Immediate locale work-a-day but 2 to 3 minutes walk you... More

Stayed 3 nights in March. Location a little outside city centre but bus and metro stops close by + Rome is a big city so you'll do a lot of walking anyways. Very helpful and friendly staff with fluent English. Loved the interior design, rooms cleaned everyday, toiletries re-stocked. Nice breakfast. Cosy terrace on the roof top + a jacuzzi... More

Dear Paulina, Thank you for your nice review. We agree with you regarding the size of the city, therefore we are happy that you underline the importance of a bus station situated just outside the hotel. It is very pleasant to us hearing your satisfaction on our staff service and our rooms. We are also glad that you appreciated our... More

We have just returned from a long weekend in Rome. The location worried me slightly on arrival in the taxi as the sign for the hotel is slighty dated and 'old school' but was pleasantly supprised once inside. The reception staff where most hepfull and as we arrived early our room was not ready so we left our bags and... More

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Fiume for 2 nights in Feb 2012. Our flight got us into Rome early and we were at the hotel by 10 am. Our rooms weren't ready yet, but we were graciously allowed to eat breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. The hotel and rooms are very modern and nicely decorated. The rooms... More

Really nice hotel with perfect design in lounge, hotel staff was very professional. Hotel is 10/15 min from Via Veneto, Spanish Steps by foot, or 2 min by taxi and there are good bars just outside a hotel. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, rooms were quite big (even for a single room) and clean.
