It's located in a very good place, near of Termini Station, Via Nazionale and Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, in the historical center. The staff is very polite and helpful. The accommodation are comfortable and prices are excellent, taking in consideration the place where the hotel and the average prices of the hotels in Rome.

I stayed in this hotel for about a week and it was basic at most. Breakfast was very slim with little options to choose from. Wifi didn't work half the time, and the other amenities was very basic. It was close to tourist sites and the train station which was a plus on my part.

After 8 weeks travelling throughout Europe Corona was our last Hotel,we stayed here for 2 weeks in late oct 2011.On the positive side it is close to Termini rail station, easy walking distance with luggage. It is also relatively close to most attractions in Rome,we walked daily and found it a pleasant walk always finding more attractions and feeling totally comfortable finding... The hotel is situated within walking distance of most of the main historical attractions. The Vatican can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes but if walking isn't your thing their is a metro station 5 mins away. You can get unlimited public transport for 3 days for €3. The hotel staff are all very friendly and the their... More

This hotel is a very nice hotel to stay, right in the center of Rome, good value& service, nearby the Termini station and walking distance (10 minutes). The beds and bathroom are good, the room is not too big, but like I said good value for money. the staff is very friendly and brakfast is nice! Apart from that it... More

The hotel Crowns is a very good hotel. The price is identical to the service. Very good attention and predisposition of the employees. The rooms are pretty and complete. The breakfast is very rich, abundant and varied. Even it is croissant warm. The hall of entry is very wide and agreeable. I recommend it!!!

Just read a real negative review of Hotel Corona and was wondering if we had actually stayed at the same hotel. Our experience was quite different. We have just departed Rome after 5 nights in a 2 bedroom family suite. It was a great way to end our 5 week Euro journey. The hotel is close to Termini, buses, and... More

I had the dis-pleasure in staying at this inhospitable hotel. My 21 day holiday started in London, then Paris, Venice, Florence and finally ended in Rome. Every hotel we stayed in out did the last and we were enjoying every bit of our holiday and then we went to Rome! When the transfer company struggled to even find the hotel,... More

Had a chance to take my mom flying and to the Vatican for the first time in her life. Booked this hotel after reading mostly positive reviews on Dutch websites. We were looking for a simple hotel at a reasonable location. The location is great if you like to be able to walk to the various spots in the touristic... More

My wife had her necklace ripped off her neck at 18:30 on a Sunday evening. The mugging happened about 40 meters from the Corona. I chased the mugger right by the owner of the Corona and his son who were talking on the sidewalk. I screamed at them to stop him, but they just ignored me. I came back and... More

We are really sorry what happened to Mr. Greg. S. At the moment we were talking to some customers at the reception desk. We heard some shouting in the street in the distance and we could not realize what was going on at that instant. Soon Mr. Greg came in the hotel screaming that his wife had been robbed. He... More
