Me and my friend stayed in Hotel Pyramid in June 2011. We were flying on holidays from Fiumicino therefore we wanted a budget place in Ostiense (train connection). We arrived late around 11 pm and I must say that I was feeling very uncomfortable the whole way from train station to the hotel. Groups of teenagers on the way were... More

this is the first review i've ever written. it was so bad that i felt i had to warn people. first off, it's in a shady area. i know rome is dirty and anywhere can look sketchy, but this place is very sketchy. we were afraid to go out at night. secondly, their policy is that they are not responsible... Was there with my girlfriend. It wasn't problem to find the way to the hotel, and we loved the old gentleman who welcomed us when we arrived at late night (time wasn't problem). We had nice, clean room with balcony, spent two comfortable and calm night there. All staff are friendly and helpful. Our biggest problem was the ascensor -... More

We stayed at the Hotel Pyramid for three days during a recent trip to Rome. We were drawn in by the cheap rates and close proximity of the hotel to the Ostiense and Pyramid train stations. The location was great for these purposes and allowed us to stay fairly close to the city center without paying a lot of money.... More

Would agree with the points rasied by Andres16, its a decent enough hotel and the staff are friendly enough but it is a decent 15 / 20 minutes walk to the main part of the city. Shower / toilet rooms are very small. Breakfast consisted of anything with loads of sugar and that included the fruit juice. Try the local... More

I found staff to be very helpful and friendly. Aside from that the only thing this place has going for it is the location. It is a 5 min walk to a station that is easy access to the airport. I walked into the centre of Rome in about 20 minutes easily. Typical budget hotel for Europe. If you have... More

Also more commonly called ABC Piramide / ABC Pyramid Hotel. I've stayed here twice, with a third time later this year. LOCATION / COST - 5 or 6 minute walk from the Ostia / Piramide twin train stations, which are more-or-less one and the same. The metro line connects with - well, all other metro stations, but the Ostia line... More

I recently stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend and as we are students we were both on a budget so the price was good. We were not expecting much from the hotel to begin with but we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was a decent size and the bathroom your average wet room with toilet and shower. Our room... More

First, the "pro": 1. Good position, especially if you arrive from aeroport at night or/and intend to continue your trip from Rome in the direction of Viterbo. In some hundreds meters is situated train station Ostience, where stop both trains from Fiumichino and trains to Viterbo. 2. Good price for the hotel "not so away from centre". It is about... More

This was our second stay at this hotel. The main rason we chose this hotel was down to the location and staff. The rooms are basic the beds suffice and the price is good. If you want to see the cities attractions this is just far enough out to enjoy a stroll to all the main sites, jump on the... More
