Stayed at the place for a couple of days and we were the only people in the house. The only good thing is that it is extremely close to the Cavour station. We ran out of bread so called the owners, but they weren't in Rome so had to manage without bread. The air conditioners weren't functioning properly so I woke up in... We arrived at about 5pm --- no-one to meet us. Called the owner --- stuck in traffic 2 hours away. Where do we store our luggage --- luckily it wasn't raining. 7pm owner arrives, receipt book in one hand, other hand ready to accept our cash! One tiny bathroom for 7 rooms (all in use) --- shower broken, toilet dirty.... More

Stayed at this place for 3 nights. It only cost us 100 Euro. We had a room with double bed. You do share a bathroom with other renters (they have their own rooms), but it's pretty descent..There was no one there the first few days when we stayed, so we didn't have any problems with bathroom crowding. The place was... More

Well placed to visit the collesseum and Palatine and not far from the metro. The room was somewhat dark but clean and the beds were comfortable. The shared bathroom was mediocre due to the broken shower head and the drain being blocked. Breakfast was more substantial than other places – with milk available for tea (not the norm), jam and... My boyfriend and I stayed at the Red Rose B&B for four nights while in Rome. After staying in hostels for the past three weeks, it was a nice break from the loud, crowded summer crowds that hostels seems to bring. The owner was an older, friendly Italian businesswoman, who, after recording our passports and taking payment, provided us with... More

If you are a fussy traveler...this place is not for you. If you want a comfortable, quiet place to stay in a great location in Rome I highly recommend Anna Rosa's. It's not fancy, but its charming and it offers chance to meet other travelers and chat with Lucia the manager of the place. She will set out your breakfast... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in May and can highly recommend it. The location of Red Rose is very convenient - a few minutes walk from the Termini station and easy walking distance to the Colesseum and other exciting attractions. The apartment was very clean and well equiped. The owner was very helpful and friendly, despite speaking very little... More

We found this place on www.cross-pollinate.com, a handy website for booking private rooms in Italy. Anna Rosa's was average at best, but I felt like we got what we paid for. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment with a private bathroom for 150 Euros per room. Not bad considering how expensive rooms are in Rome, and the place was decent... More

I booked this B&B based on some good reviews and the fact that it seemed good value for money - it wasn't worth the money saved. Firstly, on arrival we were engulfed in smoke. The owner and her friend were in the kitchen smoking. As non-smokers, you generally don't like to have where you eat breakfast to be filled with... More

We (three adults) stayed at this B&B for 6 nights in early September. We were recommended this B&B by a travel agent though we did the booking ourselves. We paid E93 a night for the room and breakfast. This had to be paid in cash so if you are coming directly from the airport get some Euros from the ATM... More
