I got stuck in Rome with Air Italia (wont fly with them ever again!) and this hotel beat it: food like on the airplane (literally), no Internet on the rooms and a customer service where they blame you for their bad service.

The AC is totally ineffective, the rooms are stuffy, the carpets are smelly, the linens stink, the headboard and lamps are dusty, the walls are dirty, the mattress uncomfortable... It was very hard to sleep the night under those conditions. No safe in rooms. Wi-fi was 16 euro per day. Even a 2 star hotel in little towns give you... More

We were forced to stay here due to Hurricane Irene. We concur with all of the other reviews, the good and the bad. Then again, it saved us several hundred dollars by accepting Alitalia's offer to stay here rather than going somewhere else on our own. The hotel is only 10 minutes from a decent beach, several restaurants and cafes... More

Got stranded on Rome and carrier placed over 200 tired passengers on this hotel. It's not really a place you would choose if you get the chance, and judging from the reviews many guests are unlucky flight passenger. And even if they are a hotel that provides such service for airline carriers, they still should meet the demand with proper... More

Staff is helpful and speak English well. Humid rooms, mold, wet carpets. Mosquitoes, broken air con (loud whirring fan) even after repairman tried to fix it. Shabby decor, lumpy beds, $25 internet that doesn't work, very far from airport and downtown Rome. Avoid.

yes, we got held hostage here after our plane was cancelled. after 9 glorious days in italy we got stuck in this dark, musty god forsaken place. Thank you alitalia. The service was horrible and it bordered on vindictive. we asked for directions to chuch and the direction they sent us felt like we were walking into the "hood". The... More

If you like mold and mildew on your walls and carpet, torn carpet, broken tvs and toilets that wouldn't flush, this is your place. If you want a courteous staff, clean rooms, great location, then this is NOT the place for you!!!!!!!!

We stayed here for the same reason many other reviewers have - we were bumped from our flight. Several other bumped passengers were put up here as well. As other reviewers have noted, the service is inattentive at best, rude and dismissive at worst. The bad: Service (see above). Interior is dark. Elevators are small and ancient. Food is terrible,... My family (five adults) stayed at the hotel in mid May of this year. We stayed two nights in three rooms. Our stays were consecutive nights but broken up by checking out on one morning, going to the airport (FCO) and rechecking in the same afternoon after not being able to travel on that day's flight (one flight a day... I was supposed to fly out of Milan, but my early morning flight (Delta) was cancled and they routed me through Rome with a night layover. I was put up at the Satellite Palace Hotel and I found the hotel okay. It was clean and seemed nice. The food was good. I was in early enough to take a train... More
