From the directions to the room to the host, Valerio, we could not have had a better experience! As soon as we arrived, Valerio made us feel welcome and comfortable. He offered us tips and maps for our stay, and treated us like good friends. The room was airy and comfortable, with air conditioning and plenty of space. We had... More

B&B Calamatta was accessable to all tourist highlights. Valerio was wonderful marking our map so we knew what streets to follow to the historical sights. The accommodation was very clean. For breakfast we had a voucher to a little cafe around the corner from the B&B, the gentleman who ran the cafe was very nice so was the food. What... More

Valerio and BBCalamatta provided us a perect home away from home. Valerio's restaurant recommendations were excellent, and he knows the city very well and was able to answer any questions we had. The room was comfortable and clean, and we were upgraded prior to our arrival to a full apartment with a full kitchen, which for a 9 day stay... More

I can say that the Calamatta is an excellent choice of B&B in Rome. Perfect location, excellent service, clean room, and rooms decorated with much care. The administrator Valerio, does everything to help guests to enjoy of the best of Rome.

Great value for the money! Excellent location between Vatikan and Centro Historico, clean and quiet place, one can really have a good rest after Rom sightseeing marathons. But the real value is the superb hospitality by B&B manager Valerio. He makes everything for the guests, from advising great dining options to booking excursions. The only minus was unstable WiFi connection,... More

I stayed here for three nights in April with my father on holiday and the B&B was excellent. The room was newly furnished with cooling air conditioning (definitely needed in the summer Roman heat!) and was very well located near to the river and a short walk from the center of Rome and the Vatican with a bus stop nearby... What a great 4 days we have just spent in Rome and what helped make it a great time was our accommodation which was clean and as central as you could have hoped for. There is a well stocked kitchen area for a quick cup of coffee or a bowl... More

We just spent several days in Rome and had a wonderful time. Valereo was so helpful to ensure we had everything we needed. He emailed me before we arrived to be sure I knew how to get to the B&B. One night when I returned to the B&B very tired he greeted us warmly and quickly went to get a... More

This was the first time we have stayed in a B&B in another country, and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. Valerio put us at ease by e-mailing a few days ahead and offering to arrange tickets to sites and a driver from the airport. The location was perfect - we walked to everything, but bus and... More
