I stayed here on two occasions: 31 March for 3 eves & 5 April for 4 eves. Stayed in Room 18 (single with shared bath) & Room 10 (single with shower), respectively. Although the single with shower was priced a bit higher, it wasn't worth it--less space & less sunlight. I didn't bother asking if my previous room was available.... More

Very low price and quality of 3 star hotel. Good location very close to Termini Station connected to subway to Colosseum and Vatican. Near the shuttles to the Ciampino Airpoirt. Reception desk and rooms in the 5th floor. Elevator. Kitchen with microwave, fridge, freezer, utilities and cutlery available with any extra cost. Balcony with chairs and table. Our room with... The location of this hotel is perfect in a sense as it is situated right on the Termini Station. You can catch metro train or a bus for any place(tourist) at any time. You save lot of time in traveling by staying at Termini. The rooms were good. There was a proper cleaning activity on daily basis and services were satisfactory. The location where... More

First of all: all comments prior to decembre 2010 are hopelessly outdated. They renovated the entire place! I stayed for three nights with my girlfriend in a double room with bathroom en-suite and I couldnt find too much to complain about. The only things I thought negative were the shower head which didnt hold in position and you cant get... More

Having stayed at fawlty towers on three separate occasions I can say that the first two were very accommodating and pleasant as hostels go. However, having just returned from there on my third stay I can say that have lost any good quality they had in previous visits. I booked 2 double rooms with air-conditioning, wi-fi and shower. However when... More

The hotel is spotlessly clean and recently renovated. Our air conditioning was broken, which was unfortunate as it was very hot, but we were given a discount as compensation. Right next to the train station with links to everywhere in Rome, this hotel was nothing special, but met our needs for a good price. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.... More

We stayed here for two nights and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our accommodation. Our room had air conditioning and a shower room (no toilet). The breakfast was very sweet (pastries and honey on mini toast), but luckily we brought cereal and they were generous enough to provide the milk. The worst thing about this hotel is that... More

The name is definitely all that this hotel has in common with Basil's - the staff couldn't be friendlier or more professional. The location is great, especially if you don't know your way around as it's very close to the main Termini bus and train station and about half the bus routes in the city end up there...

I think this place has recently been renovated and decorated, it is v. clean, with a good public area with micro wave, fridge, free internet etc and a nice little terrace to escape the heat. Rooms are basic but the one I was in was spotless if a little noisy, as it was next to reception area. I was travelling... More
