Location: the hotel is located very close to the Barberini metro station (around 150-200 meters) and near a handfull of restaurants and bars. Places of interest nearby (walking distance): Fontani di Trevi (trevi fountain), Pallazzo del Quirinale (Quirinale Palace), Fontana del Tritone (Triton Fountain), Piazza Barberini (Barberini Square), Hard Rock Café Rome. Also take notice that is located around only... More

This hotel is so far from a four star hotel, it should be rated as a one star budget hotel. The front desk staff is nasty and rude. If in the future I would have had no place to sleep, I would rather have slept in the park.

Not really a 4 star hotel, but excellent location. Considering that the building is more than 200 years old, next to Piazza Barberini and few minutes walk of Fontana di Trevi, Spanish steps and the metro, this is best you can get for the money. Small rooms, even smaller bathrooms and no free wi-fi would’n be your problem, having all... More

I was in this hotel about five days, an excellent hotel in terms of location and in terms of staff. Poor breakfast, but you can find what to put here Next to the hotel five minutes walk large supermarket and cheap prices (cost me 60 cents a bottle of two liters of water) Nice pizzeria near the hotel, and excellent... Ihave just spent 3 nights in the Anglo Americano and it is an ideal location, close to the Spanish Steps,Trevi Fountain and easy walking distance to the Colosseum. The Metro is just around the corner as are plenty of restaurants shops etc. The hotel has comfortable beds, it is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful, especially Leonardo... More

We've just got back from 6 day stay in this hotel. I was unsure after reading some of the reviews what to expect as the reviews varied quite a lot. I shouldn't have worried. The hotel was impeccably clean with marble floor continually swept. The room on the second floor was a good double room, one wardrobe, a desk and... More

Great location to all the main attractions, metro is just around the corner, hop on buses are located close by (do your homework first before choosing which company to use as they all go different routes and all vary in price) When you arrive in Rome get a train to the central then take taxi to hotel as walking with... stayed here in march with my partner for my birthday. Location is great can't fault it. Within walking distance of most things. However that's the only good thing about the hotel, they charge you for wifi which from floors 1 and up you can't get signal for. the electric in rooms are temperamental and work only when it feels like.... I stayed for 3 days with my wife and our 11 year old. We choose the Hotel after reading a few Trip Adviser's reviews. Upon arrival was very pleasant, the hotel looks exactly as advertised, checking in was quick and we were then escorted to our room, by a very friendly staff, Raymond, who spoke English and also handled our... New rooms, good wifi (they charged me extra even in their add said it was free). Location is walking distance of every main point in Rome and the metro is within 100 metres to take you to the Vatican City and museums. Nice and good small restaurants all around. I would recomend this hotel to my family.
