Don’t go, just arrived back 24-05-12. At check in we were told they had no room for us, as some guests had not left. We were transferred to another hotel for the night, and had to go back the next dayTo get a room. eventually found out that the Libyan embassy had wanted 10 rooms. and that they did not... More

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. When my husband and I arrived at the hotel, we were given a "room" the size of a closet with windows facing the service stair case. The room was so small, there was literally no space to open our suitcases. After complaining, we were given a much larger room with an actual... More

We were invited for a meal by a business colleague, and although the hotel entrance was pretty, when we went up to the 9th floor the decor resembled an outdated nightclub. It was chilly so they had the awnings up which looked a bit tatty. Service was attentive, and the guitar entertainment great fun, but mostly because of our table... More

On our arrival the staff were friendly and informative. After that, things were patchy depending on who you spoke to. We went to the terrace bar and ordered two beers which took about 15 minutes to arrive, but it doesn't seem so important when you have just escaped the coldest and wettest April since records began and are sitting in... This hotel is fantastic from the minute you arrive you feel welcome. The hotel is ideally placed and in walking distance of the main attractions. The staff are friendly and attentative and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is bright and modern and the room was fantastic with a lounge area down stairs and glass stairs leading to a... More

The Hotel is perfectly located and we had a nice room. The service at the breakfast and in the bar/restaurant is terrible. We waited 15 minutes to get anseatbeven 5 tables where free. It took so long to clean a table. The buffet wasmalmostneaten and itmtook another 20 minutes to get fresh food on it. Our drinks we had to... More

The hotel is nice, not "luxury", but nice. It is also clean. The people were very friendly and went out of their way to be nice to us. And the location is great. But when it comes to the hotel, it is a great example of a designer with no counter weight in terms of function. It drives me crazy to... More

Good service, breakfast and location. Genuine helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bad - no iron or adaptor - tip buy an iron and adaptor otherwise 8 euros to press trousers! Ugly - the decor something out of a 90's magazine.

I recently stayed at La Griffe for the second time, booked on a Wotif Mystery Deal. I went back to the hotel for the second time due to its excellent location, clean rooms and very good value for money for Rome. On this occasion, however, the staff recognised me from my previous stay nearly one year before and went out... More

We were very happy with our stay at La Griffe. Room was clean and modern with great shower and a huge bed, nothing much else was needed as we were either out and about or to be found on the rooftop terrace which had great views of the city from a number of viewpoints. Our only disappointment was the plastic... More
