Hotel in excellent position for all the sights. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. I stayed in a single room, which was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The only complaint was that we were late to breakfast on the first morning, and we had to come back twice as there were no tables, and there... More

Travelled here on 8th February during adverse weather conditions in Rome. Some days it snowed and evenings were very cold. Hotel is in a very central location. Just off via nazionale! Hotel is small (like most hotels in Rome). The rooms are not located within the reception entrance. You will need to go next door to get to your room.... More

Dear Guests, thank you for choosing our hotel. We appreciate your contribution. With disappointment we have read that your morning was disturbed with a noise. If you thought the room or the shower are tiny, it was possible to inform the staff on the reception. Maybe there was a possibility to give you a room you would like more. Also... More

This was our first visit to Rome and we were not disappointed by Hotel Caravaggio. It was well situated for the areas we wished to visit and we felt safe wandering well into the evening. The staff were extremely friendly and our room and ensuite were immaculate. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel.

Before you make a reservation to stay in this hotel in the winter call ahead and ask the reception about the following issues: - Which building number and room number will you be located if you reserve the room? From what I have seen, the room numbers with even numbers up to 30 are located on the first floor of... More

Dear Guest, we would like to thank you for your voluminous review. We appreciate it. In the hotels which use the classic room key (not a magnetic card) it is common to give one room key per room. The last person leaving the room let the key at the reception and the first person who will arrive will take the... More

We had room 34, which looked out onto the street below. The room was massive: you could have fit a dining room table in there as well as the large bed. We received a free bottle of wine on arrival, which was the perfect touch. The bathroom is a bit small, with a tiny shower, but it was clean, which... More

I travelled here for a short trip with my mum - we are 29 and 53. The location is ideal if using the aiport bus and is close, within walking distance to the colosseum and roman forum. The street the hotel is situated on is fairly quiet. We had booked a twin room and on arriving (at 11pm) were shown... More

Our budget was fairly tight so for £150 ish for the 3 nights I wasn't expecting too much, however we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, friendliness and overall presentation.
